RAJASTHAN MAKE MERRY IN EARLY STAGE OF IPL 2024

Rajasthan registered 2 consecutive wins in IPL 2024 and are ranked No. 2 in the points table. They have played both games at home and managed victory in both, by defeating Lucknow by 20 runs and Delhi by 12 runs. Last year, Rajasthan lost 4 of their 5 home games and missed out on qualifying for the playoffs by a small margin.

They managed to break the shackles of losing their home games and stand strong among the top spots in the points table in the early stage of the tournament. Rajasthan will play their next match of the season against Mumbai at the Wankhede Stadium on April 1, Monday.

PARAG’S HEROICS GUIDE RAJASTHAN TO A WIN

In the first match, it was Samson with the bat, who scored 52-ball 82 against Lucknow. Samson’s heroics were followed by Parag in the next match. The Assam batter finally managed to repay the years of faith shown in him by the franchise. Parag scored his 3rd IPL fifty and pushed the accelerator button by the end of the innings to take Rajasthan’s total to 185 runs. Despite a great start provided by David Warner and a valiant effort by Tristan Stubbs, Delhi couldn’t cross the line as they were restricted to 173 runs.
