The Agriculture Ministry is going to run a campaign from today February 12, to provide relief to such farmers.

The central government runs many schemes for the underprivileged class and one among them is PM Kisan Samman Nidhi for farmers, under which the government provides farmers with Rs 6000 per year. The money is deposited in the account of farmers in three instalments. Till now, 15 instalments of the Kisan Samman Nidhi have reached the accounts of farmers. The 16th instalment is expected soon. However, some farmers have complained of having not received their instalments for quite some time. Now, the central government is aiming to provide relief to those farmers whose instalments are due.

The Agriculture Ministry is going to run a campaign from today February 12, to provide relief to such farmers. This drive will run till February 21. State governments and district administrations will jointly run this campaign with the help of more than four lakh common service centres across the country.

According to government officials, eligible farmers, who have not received PM Samman Nidhi installments, have two possible reasons: either they have not received their e-KYC or their Aadhaar has not been connected to their bank account. The goal of this effort is to address these two issues alone.

In accordance with this, the district government would set up Common Service Centre camps in the block or village based on demand. The staff members seated here will identify the cause of the instalment’s delay and take immediate action to fix it. Farmers who are facing the issue should visit the camps in their block or village before February 21 and take all accompanying documents along with them to get their issues resolved.

The sixteenth instalment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana may be released by the Indian government either this February or in March of next year, as per media reports. It is important to note that the administration has not yet released an official statement on this matter.
